This outstanding collaboration of James Behring and Roger "Mudbone" Jones' work is a true crown jewel of any knife collection. The blade is hand forged from 3/16" thick high carbon 01 tool steel and it measures 4 3/4" from tip to guard with a razor sharp hollow grind, hammermarks, a blued finish and most importantly the "BEHRING X MUDBONE" stamp. The blued steel guard is soldered in place above black, white and maroon fiber, coyote g10, green micarta and horsehide leather spacers as well as a premium sambar stag butt. In true Mudbone fashion, he topped it off with a handmade copper arrowhead buttcap that pairs perfectly with those same rivets on the whitetail skull sheath. With an overall length of 9 7/8", this is a true package deal! A beauty in the safe but a beast in the field!
